Gem Diamonds Limited and the government of the Kingdom of Lesotho have announced that their flagship mine, Letseng Diamonds, is now in the process of implementing its new sales and marketing strategy for its production of rough diamonds.

Letseng Diamond’s existing arrangements for the sale and marketing of its diamond production in Antwerp, Belgium, concluded with the September 2010 tender.

From October 2010, Letseng Diamonds’ production will be sold in Antwerp in accordance with the new strategy, the firm said in a statement.
