The Diamond Trading Company (DTC) has officially confirmed that prices of specific merchandise will be raised at its next sight scheduled to start on the 7th of July 2008The DTC rejected to comment on how much it would elevate the prices and which goods would be affected by this decision. In addition the DTC reported that prices at the first four sights this year had risen by an average of 8.5 percent. There were no price changes indicated for the fifth sight in June.

This could effectively restructure the price as it is. It is common for the DTC to report a cumulative price changes three to four times a year at strategic times. The price changes for the year will be announced before the Hong Kong show in September.
